This policy explains what information this website collects, how that information is used, who it may be shared with, and the choices available to you. It applies to the Foundation's website only.
Information you provide directly. When you make a donation, sign up for updates, request a broadcast, or send a message, you may provide details such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, organization or facility name, and the content of your message. Payment details for donations are entered directly into a secure third-party donation platform and are not stored by the Foundation.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site may collect limited technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This information is gathered using cookies and similar technologies.
This site uses cookies and analytics tools [such as Google Analytics] to understand visitor activity in aggregate, for example which pages are viewed and general location. Most web browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If the Foundation runs online advertising, advertising partners [such as Google or Meta] may also set cookies to measure how those ads perform.
The Foundation does not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only in these limited ways:
Donations are processed through a secure third-party donation platform Green light. Payment card details are handled by that platform under its own privacy policy and security standards, not by the Foundation. Embedded forms and outbound links may take you to third-party websites that are governed by their own privacy policies.
The Foundation keeps personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law and nonprofit record-keeping obligations, and then deletes or anonymizes it.
This website is intended for donors, educators, and facility partners, not for children. The Foundation does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please make contact so it can be removed.
The Foundation takes reasonable steps to protect personal information. No method of transmitting or storing information online is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
This policy may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent version.
